so anyone other than me get all the bugs out of vista?

im running vista ultimate 32, and managed in the course of about a half hour to eliminate all the hardware issues and software bugs that so many people find with windows vista. its been about a year since ive done this, but my computer runs fast, and with no antivirus running it seems to not get any viruses either. anyone else have this success? if not i can give tips and pointers on how to get your vista os running smoothly!

if youre more familiar with xp, and are having a little trouble with user account control, you can turn it off, tho id only recommend this if you are the only user of the pc, or you use different profiles for different users. this overrides the somewhat annoying popup that happens when running or moving certian files. also theres a way to simplify the way you access folders so it is a lot easier to get around your pc.
say you dot like the way your control panel is set up, you can switch to classic mode and its exactly like the old xp layout. also putting your my computer icon and my documents folder on your desktop is simple and faster than opening the toolbar to access it. if youd like a little help getting these things taken care of just send me a message and ill explain it, or point you in the right direction for a good online tutorial
