it is always a risk when a show's cast member leaves. a certain void remains, chemistry is changed and the show's aura is never the same. csi las vegas sort of sustained itself for a while after some cast members left but now? just when we thought it wouldn't survive it did and it made even is making a bigger splash toppling one of my other favorite house out of the top spot of most watched tv series. congratulations to csi las vegas and to us for more quality tv viewing is surely to come around for a long, long time.

I haven't watched it much since the change, not because of the change but because I liked something else better that was on another network at the same time. I occasionaly watch a rerun now that it is Summer.

what's that other show? i believe it would be in the likes of csi. i wonder what it is for sometimes i find myself in the same position: choosing between shows and sometimes one of them would be csi.

i still can remember last year where there was a lot of discussion about gil grissom leaving the CSI troop, and a lot of discussion about Laurence Fishburne joining the scene. i still watch CSI las vegas if i can catch it. i work at nights but my wife watches it. all the CSI. her favorite is New York he loves Gary Senise har har har. but she said so far it is still exciting to watch and laurence has a different approach on his character. good job CSI specially the writers who made an extra effort so fans wont just walk away.

true. i think unless otherwise there comes a curse on the producer: the only person those 3 csi's have in common then that show is bound to be around for a long, long time. they're up to date with effects and the latest gadgets in the crime solving world. not to mention they have talented actors and talented people behind the scenes.

I have not watched that one yet. I am hooked on NCIS. It's like an addiction.

i like ncis also. but i don't like ncis l.a. that much. i don't know why. there's something about that show that doesn't stick. ncis is the only show that can make me think twice in choosing between csi and ncis.

That is one show you watch for the content, not the actor or actress. Some shows are good because of them. Others are not good with someone else playing the role(s).

definitely. that's a show making the actors. not the actors making the show.
