when is it time

My wife and I just had our first child on st.Patrick's day.She is so beautiful and her name is Jocelyn.She is 3 months now and is 13 pounds.The formula we have been giving her doesn't fill her up anymore so we have been putting baby cereal in with the formula.We also have been giving her water and apple juice,only a little bit tho.Well I as a first time father was wondering when is the right time to start giving your child apple juice and etc.
Need some opinions mylotters.

My docor did not allow me to give my daughter apple juice until she was 6 months, she also was not full on the formula she was given so at three months we started adding single grain rice cereal to her food, it seemed to fill her up, now she gets baby food as well
