Ladies, when you were growing up, did you ever slap a young man's face for being too naughty? Gentlemen, when you were growing up, did you ever come to the defense of a young lady in distress? What happened, share your experiences with us.

LOL I still find myself doing this last night. A guy friend of mine slept over and was trying to do a little more than sleep, so I playfully slapped him in the face. It seemed to work. Was I supposed to grow out of that? Did I miss something? At times, these kinds of actions still seem semi-appropriate.

...Hi thetre maezee, I don't think there is any age appropriate time to slap a guy if he is misbehaving as you did. Some of us just started earlier than others. I think guys are sometimes straped with the idea that they are supposed to try or push for things they may want to happen and go a bit too far and a slap might be fair. I was about thirteen when I first slapped a young man for putting his hands where they did not belong, I thought he was going to hit me back but he looked in my eyes and I wasn't backing down and he thought better of it which was good.
