i just thought of sharing this one to all myLotters... Sometimes heart attack happens when one is alone by him/herself. it is when the heart beats improperly with sometimes chest pain and losing of consciousness within almost 10 seconds.. Since you're alone with no help, the best option is to cough repeatedly and vigorously! A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged and should be done every 2 seconds, alternating deep breathing and coughing without let-up until help arrives or until the heart feels like it is beating normally again... Deep breathing gets oxygen to the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating and also the squeezing pressure on the heart helps it to regain its normal rhythm. Got any other informative ideas? Happy myLotting!

Also, to all of the women here...women don't normally present with the classic "elephant on the chest" heart attack symptoms. Women can present with back pain, pain radiating up the arm, neck or jawline, dizziness and nausea.

I personally thank you for this useful initiative. Yes, coughing does really help at the times of Heart Attacks. As they say Prevention is Better than Cure, one must look after his body with due care. People above 60 years of age must undergo health checkups, keep their mind and body fit by exercising, having a clean diet, meditating and practicing Yoga. Yoga does help you out a lot prevent health disorders. If everyone takes enough care for their mind and body right from an early stage, then no one needs to fear these diseases. Lets spread the Awareness. Thank you. Regards, Ash.
