how to know when a friend is a truly friend ?

It depends completely on the situation. Some may take a back seat if you approach for money. Some would not like to enter their private life and give advices. Many will make excuses when you invite them for an important fuction or they may not invite you for their important family function. There are many such instances where you can truly judge.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, there is not a book by which we can judge the loyalty of a friend to you. It depends on experience, I guess.

Truly friend have many features.For example,they can help you when you have trouble in some problems.Although you have no money,they also provide you really help.When they have happy things,they will share with you.When they have sad things,they endure alone.I think truly friends have all of the features.

Truly friend, should be the friend that can help with no condition, and share the emotion with you, no matter he/she is sad, happy or angry.But I think you should spend enough time on making friend, then you can have truly friends.Do you agree with me?

When you have troubles, you will see whether your friends are loyal to you. Some friends may leave you, they're not friends; some will stay and help you, these are friends. It's hard to tell. Some friends may stick to you for benefits, so you should never start a friendship with materialistic issues.
