I use vaceline during cold season, when the skin becomes very dry. There are various brands available now. It is also avaliable in different frangrances. But these products doesn't protect for long hours . I have to apply again in a short while. best remedy is coconut oil. the disadvatage is the smell. But the skin remains very smooth for long hours.

Really? Wow. So you CAN use vaseline on skin.
That's kinda cool. :) I never knew that.
:( I don't know where to get my hands on coconut oil though. That's kinda sad.

We get two kinds of vaceline creams or lotions for body and separate for lips. In which country do you reside? You can check out with any Indian store for branded coconut oil.

I live in Australia...
And the vaseline I'm talking about is actually petroleum jelly, the normal kind of vaseline that you buy in jars

I use it as a lip balm and on my eyebrows to keep them in shape. I also use it from time to time on my eyelashes to make them look longer and fuller. :)
my youngest daughter also has dry skin behind her ears so i use it on that too.

i believe that vaseline has also many uses.
However, depending on the user, the value may prove to be high or low.
I noticed that most men do NOT like putting lotion or oil on their bodies.
Am not sure why but maybe they feel eeky or sticky, i dont know!
For babies, it helps to protect their delicate skins from infection or uneccessary rashes.
i also have baby skin and using vaseline is not common.
However, i do have an oil i use to keep myself nice and glossy

I actually searched up vaseline on wiki
Seems like it has no medical value, but it only protects moisture from going out from your body though.
But still...
it sounds good...
