I lacked inspiration for a long period and only recently gained some confidence to write again. I have not written for more than a year, even though I had wanted to write more articles/reviews, etc. Over the past few weeks, I have written an article or two, but was not confident to submit them to the writing sites. But this morning, I felt confident that one of my articles would be accepted, so I submitted it. Subsequently, I reviewed some of my other articles, modified it and submitted a few more. I was surprised that within a few moments, one of my articles was published. That greatly increased my confidence and was instantly inspired to review and edit a couple more pieces. All in all, I submitted 6 articles and by the end of the day, all six were accepted and published. I'm so happy...

I think different ple's inspirations comes from different areas.. Be it in your own comfort zone, or even out of it, will inspire one to have fresh ideas.. haha =D Try looking around, observe ple etc, those little details u managed to catch will be some form of inspiration for u too.. hehe ^_^ WHEn it comes to writing, there need not be a draft in the first place.. Just note it down in point form, before expanding them into an article, and that will be easier.. hehe

My inspiration is ambition. And my ambition is … well, you will get to know in a few months what I am talking about as this is something related to the Internet. Well, on the other hand, inspiration or no inspiration, I have to keep writing daily without a break. My mental fatigue is my only break, which I do invariably take in 2 to 3 weeks’ time. The reason for such a non-stop work is my commitment to which I have to abide by as a freelancer. Presently I work for two clients. I need to submit 4 articles daily to my client of 400 words each and 2 of 200 words each. For my second client I have to submit 6 to 9 articles of about 150 to 200 words each. All these articles are uploaded on various websites. Some of them do publish it with my name, for others I just can’t get the credit for the name. There are a total of 3000 words each to be submitted daily. So, I have no choice to ask for a certain inspiration. I have to continue. Moreover sometimes, the topics are too complicated. Some topics are such that I hear them for the first time. Well, still I am happy for what I am doing, because, after all it is a good earning source.

Writing sometimes is like polishing a knife, the more you do the better you are. But also it requires lots of mind working. For me, in the beginning, I can write well just when I am excatly writing what I am feeling, what I have seen, what I am just thinking or thought, these are my inspiration. Then, I could organazie more staff which I collected from my life together and started a novel. Sweetie, my advice would be just free your soul, trust your ability, and watch more, listen more, whenever you have the chance, just write what is in your mind, form your writting habbit is the first thing. Remember, the more you do, the better you are. Good luck!

Lately, my inspiration has been in commute rides home. I'm mostly a blogger and I'm in the process of getting into freelance. There are just a LOT of interesting things that happen to me on my way home that I can't pass off. Another inspiration to write are the people I talk to on my routine, like the Starbucks crew I frequent, or the security guard at the bookstore. It's things like this that want to keep writing.

my ba was in social science, and i took some mass communication classes in college. i do meditation for inspiration or sometimes i brainstorm for ideas. but mostly i like to go outside in public area, and people watch. society and real people inspire me to write. i like to write about honest and reality, rather than the bs and propaganda crap that people see most of the time all around us. i also write about animal rights, art, and do some reviews.

Hi, Yes, I too need some motivation for my articles, or any other form of compositions. I generally take my inspiration from real life. Often from myself. Sometimes the surroundings don't give much inspirational input, so I have to amuse myself in someway. I read good books, or listen to music or try to do something that is refreshing and motivational. But I don't force myself into writing. If I am really not in the mood, I may stay away from writing even for weeks. I really don't want my writings to look as if it were a confession of some moribund. Thanks God bless you

I think when you want to be a writer, you should write whatever comes from your mind immediately because if you won't, it will passed and never comes back no matter how try to think it over. That is why a paper and a pen should be carried always so you can jot words. Never mind to form an article first, just do it later. That is usually what happen to me. I am so lazy to write it down. When it's time to write I m mentally blocked. If you are trying to be a writer, everything is an inspiration to write. It's all up to you how you position your story. We are in the same boat... we have the same problem...

i'm an avid reader and a trained researcher who did a bit of market research work once upon a time..information & how to get it is the easy part for me. i just need to be inspired on how can i string this bits of info together. i'm so eccentric sometimes that i can't derive my inspirations from the same source always, so i look for new ways to get inspired for anything. currently my best inspirations come from watching 'Ben 10' on the Cartoon Network

Hi jK, it seems that you have invested a lot in yourself in regard to writing and it could very well be that a sense of pressure with deadline obligations, whether coming from your university or a position in the working world would stimulate your motivation to write more often; I sense that you have a wide array of topics and ideas that you would feel comfortable writing about ;) Perhaps you are an expert in many topics ... can you highlight one area that is full of growth and change where you can see a long term benefit for both you and your readers to focus on? When you determine the right outlet(s) for you, that align with your current and future interests, I sense that you will be prolific and have the impact that perhaps you want and deserve. as for me? YOU inspired me to comment here ;) ... what does that reveal about YOU? about ME? Keep in touch, Eric.
