How many of you own an etsy shop?

I am fairly new to etsy - I have put three items in my shop so far and I have four unfinished items. What's a good way to promote an etsy shop? I know that the jewelry I have put in my shop is cheap and cute, I just don't know how to get people to check out my shop! I have already promoted my shop on twitter and through my blog - does anyone know any other places to promote? Do you have an etsy shop? What are some tips for a successful shop? What forums do you use to promote? Thanks!

I have never even heard of etsy before! Why not join a traffic exchange site to get your shop out in the public domain.

I want to create a esty store by next month. I am hoping that by next month I will have at least two crafts maybe three on there by the end of the month. How much do you you think I should post at first? I am kind of scared, but also excited? I will be making bath salts, painted dough ornaments, felt ornaments and maybe mosaic ornaments.

I haven't had an etsy sale yet, but the more items you add, the more items people will see. If you think you have a good product, I say keep creating and adding items and eventually your sales will catch up with you! Let me know when you create a shop, we can favorite eachother!

I don't have an etsy shop but I definitely do frequent that website to look at what others are creating and selling! :-) I would suggest posting it on Facebook and Myspace for people to see! Other than that I'm not 100% sure what others do. Ooh I do have some friends on my blogger list that blog about their crafts that they make for etsy. That's an idea! You can get lots of followers through friends of friends and they could learn about your shop that way. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
