The Celtics will be a wounded tiger in game 7 with Perkins probably out in this final game of the season. This 7 foot starting center of the Celtics is a very reliable player in the court in terms of defense. He is a physical player with not backing down on his matchup with some big, talented and superstas-caliber centers of the opposing teams. Perkins is an underrated player. But now, with his injury, this is a big blow for the Celtics. Perkins will be playing or not, the Celtics will have the luxury of starting Rasheed Wallace as center.

I doubt they will put Rasheed in the center position. He wont be able to guard Gasol, which is one of the key players for LA. I hope Kevin Garnett show his old form. As of the last game KG looks old compared to Gasol. He needs to step up more. Same with Ray Allen. Regarding Perkins I don't think he will suit up. That's a serious injury. But still believing that Celtics will grab this one. Go Celtics!

It is very obvious in that game 7 win that the Lakers took the advantage from the absence of Perkins. The rebounding edge was the key for the Lakers. The height advantage of the Lakers was evident of that game.
