Is there any scientific facts that support the issue that a preggy mom can't no longer apply facial cleanser/toner and putting make-up because it can harm the baby inside? I am a little bit confused of this issue. I'm afraid that it is indeed bring harmful effects to my child. Mom out there will you enlighten me? Thank you.

There really is no proof that certain cosmetics or facial cleansers may have adverse effects on unborn babies. However, if it is a concern I would recomend using products with all natural ingrediants. You should be able to find them at your local herb store. Also, speak with someone that works there. They are usually pretty knowledgeable and can help you with any questions you may have.

i have made research on that too.. since i am also pregnant for the first time.. and ive heard that there are cosmetics that should be avoided during pregnancy.. it is because of the ingredients of those cosmetics, like glutathione, and those anti-aging ingredients... but i have read that there are really no proof or basis if its just topical application... but still it would be best to to avoid it... for me, i still use cosmetics... i still want to maintain my skin.. im still using the same facial cleanser/toner and cosmetics..
