On Marian Rivera, Pronunciation and Beauty

Really? Is she really that bad in speaking? I haven't heard her speak but they say she is not good in English daw. Why? Did she not go to a good school? Well, I have heard of a lot of negative things about her aside from the speaking part. She is daw very maldita and a big flirt---that's how she was able to grab Dingdong from Karylle.

Me too, I find her so so trying hard to speak the english language when she can speak our language? And she really has the attitude, yup she's pretty but I totally don't like her...

well you know i agree with you, i and my sister had always noticed the way she talks. it seems that her voice is not fitted to her pretty face. there is no doubt about her pretty face, but when you hear her talikng. oh my, seems that she sounds like what they said a palengkera. i hope that she should know how to talk very well.

Well I think you are right, but really I dont like her seeing in the tele drama they have. She is beautiful but I really hate her face.

lol... Yes, I agree, Marian's english sounds soooo.. What is the proper word. Unnatural? Nahhh.. Well, the point is, she's not good at talking. Especially when she speaks in english, her pronunciation is awful! I think there is no cure for that really. My teacher told me once that we should practice our pronunciation really well before hitting the age of 16. By the age of 16, it will be very hard to correct pronunciation errors.

Her accent and pronunciation is ANNOYING! she sounds like a " kanto girl" Yes, pretty, but just make sure she does NOT talk. The nesvita commercial wherein she has to say " BEAUTIFUL" took her 3-4 takes! and her WAITER! in SMB commercial sounded like WAYTER!" I guess the companies like Extraderm and Honda already learned their lesson. Now,there are girls who are talking for her and the Honda that doesnt need her to talk.

I did read about her attitude problem. In my opinion, her acting skill is superb. Everybody has their own attitude but we could do something for it. Make it better then. I really wish she could change her attitude and she achieve the best for her career and life :)

Marian is such a pretty lady but like you I also don't like the way she talks. I believe she needs to invest in learning how people in her society acts and talks.

I agree that boys dont really care much outside the looks department, while girls take into consideration the whole package. Anyway regarding marian, there is no doubt that she is one of the most pretty faces here in showbiz. But that voice and pronunciation were really placed in the wrong face. I was watching startalk last week and i laughed when marian was being interviewed and she said 'banding' instead of 'bonding' hehe. And what do you mean that she has attitude problems? Like she snobs fans?

When it comes to beauty, there is no question that Marian Rivera is one of those celebrities blessed with a beautiful face. But when it comes to brains, she is one of those who don't have it. She talks nonsense, she mispronounces words, uses inappropriate or wrong terms . .. It's a turn off.

Hello knicnax, I don't think so, and am not one of them. Clearly marian should set an example to the youngsters knowing that she has graduated from Dela Salle Dasmarinas, which she came from. i don't believe her being a Cavitena is the reason she got mad like that in one of sort who insulted her. more over when i found out that she has Spanish blood, it's clear that she can never get over her tacklesa attitude, it will always be there.

I must admit the fact that I have problems in pronunciations and diction too but with Marian Rivera the problem is her voice sounds like "gumagaralgal" that you thought she is always having her cough and phlegm. Good thing I am not into Channel 7 that is why I don't have any idea when she is being interviewed. I have my brother and he told me that he finds Marian's beauty as very common not extraordinary it means that her beauty is not that unique. I haven't even heard any guys who likes Marian as beautiful since there are a lot of beautiful celebrities that they can choose on. And yet my brother has a comment regarding the beauty of Marian and Carla Abellana that is almost the same, even the make up and wardrobe, all of it are the same. Sarah Lahbati is also beautiful that is why many guys are amazed on her unique beauty, and yet at least her personality and the way she talks fits her beauty. About Marian's attitude oh well I have already read it in some forums but then I found out that she is even hitting other staffs. I mean it could be alright to be a fighter or act like primadona but hurting someone else physically is too much. Actually she must learn to have breeding and proper manners. Marian and my friend had fought before during the Marimar days, since my friend participated as an extra performer on that series. He was just resting then Marian is looking at him then my friend was actually shocked on what Marian did so they heated argument already until Ding Dong Dantes was the one who asked for apology on what Marian did. Some other members of pinoyexchange forum are complaining about Marian's attitude like at times some of her fans are just asking for picture and autograph then Marian nagged them that she is already tired.

she is really beautiful but i don't know why i don't like her much. i feel that she can be a monster. i think she has attitude problems. and her pronunciation is really not good. i don't why i get a bad feeling to her but she is really beautiful.
