I doubt if there is a really safe place to live if you consider all factors.
Natural disasters are gradually increasing, or so it seems according to the frequency that we hear of them now. The other factor of crime is a major problem, and violent crime also seems to be on the increase. So to find a location where both of these are minor would be quite an achievement.
I would suggest trying either Alcatraz or in orbit around the Earth.

Try any town along the Mendocino County coast. Quiet. Violent crimes are few.

I am not sure there is a place that is completely safe from Natural disasters or Crime. Unless you find a remote place in the middle of no where. And then you would not be able to use High Speed internet, so not sure it would be worth it.

I don't think any place in the world is free of natural disasters, but I do think the Mendocino county redwood coastline is a safe place to live in terms of freedom from many violent crimes, although not crime free. I prefer the safety and peace and quiet of rural living in the countryside, and Mendocino county is free of smog, the air is cleaner, you can walk out doors at night. Natural disasters, well, every year the winter storms take out trees, homes, power, and water...but its a small price to pay for an otherwise paradise...

Not too many places free of natural disasters or crime. If it isn't one thing, then it is another thing. Maybe living far away from the city will cut down on the crime part though.

Actually, the town I live in is listed as the safest place in Oklahoma! :)
Broken Arrow, OK...you can look it up if you want.
But I do not think there is any place that is safest from natural disasters. There are so many different forms and hits every place in the world.
Hunger, drought, hurricanes, tornadoes, tidal waves, earth quakes, valcano erutpions, blizzards (sand or snow), freezes, heat waves, and much more.
I think each place has a danger. But it is what we make of it then, right?

Colorado is pretty much safe from natural disasters, other than blizzards (but we know before we get hit by them). Castle Rock, Colorado is the safest town along the front range with a 3% crime rate.
