How many languages do you know apart from your mother tongue?

I know three other languages apart from my mother tongue.

You are so smart . How do you learn many other languages? Could you share your experience about studying other languages. I just know tow languages . One is my mother tongue , the other is English. And I wish to improve my English through writing and listening it . Is it use for me?

Well I think Indians are benefited in one way, they can learn so may different languages.

I know only one other language other than my own mother tongue (English), but I'm studying 3 other languages - Spanish, Japanese and Korean. But we have many local dialects in our country, and I speak 2 dialects.

basically I know languages apart from my mother tongue 1. English 2. Hindi 3. Sanskrit (but I cant speak and write only read)

I know one other language other than english. I want to learn Japanese though! I think it would probably be quite tough, but with the right teacher it might be a little more do-able! :)
