Is there anyone (and I'm sure there probably is) who still supports The President's current agenda? If so, I would enjoy hearing your opinion as to why you support him. I honestly don't support the agenda that he has at all and I could get into a huge debate about it I'm sure, but I'd rather not. I'll leave the debating up to you guys! Please just post your opinions about the man and his agenda and try to keep your facts straight and NO NAME CALLING! :D Peace!

You would have to choose an issue. Supporting a politician does not always mean supporting everything they believe in. That would be asking the impossible. I can disagree with some of his policies and still support him. Since his agenda is so far ahead of past presidents, on that alone, I support him. If you want to know what they are doing you have to visit the White House web page almost dailey to keep up with what they are getting done. No one will ever be able to say this administration is not working hard.

I agree with you about the first part of your post. You can support a president and disagree with him. Believe it or not but I support and pray every night for our president because he is my president whether I like it or not even though I definitely don't agree with him probably at all. But my intention wasn't to ask do you support the President. My intention was to ask do you support the majority of what he is doing (or not doing)? What makes his agenda so far ahead of past presidents? Please expand on that on that if you don't mind. Also, I must ask this question regarding the White House Website: Since when did the White House become a media outlet? Last time I checked, it was the where the President stays during his term(s). If I want to know what they are doing, why should I have to go to their website when I could easily turn it on to Fox News or CNN or NBC? It just seems a little fishy that one has to go to a website that is maintained by the President's administration in order to see all the "wonderful" things that are being done. This discussion is really taking off! I hope people are as interested as I am in this kinda stuff because I do believe that it is very important to know about who you are electing and what they stand for.

So you have a problem with this administration utilizing the power of the internet in order to make information available to the public? The White House is much more than the residence of the president.

@FrenchFry9495: Let me test my undersanding: you object to the White House having a web site on which they publish information because you'd rather go to a news station and listen to reporters tell you what they heard at a White House press conference? Have you never heard of cutting out the middleman? The White House became a media outlet the first time a reporter asked the White House to give them information on what the Administration's doing. I believe that first occurred during the Washington Administration.

I support our president, and I feel that the country is in much better shape than it was when he took over.

First of all, welcome to myLot and I hope you enjoy it here and make lots of friends! I'm not sure what you mean by "his agenda" and, like some of the other posters here I don't want to get into every individual issue. I will say, if by agenda you mean his desire and attempts to move our country forward instead of "taking it back", count me in. We've never had a President with whom I've agreed on everything but all in all I definitely support President Obama and don't regret voting for him for a minute. Annie

I have to agree with the sane members who have responded so far. I'm not going to type a laundry list of what I support and why but, generally, I support the president.

Presidential agendas tend to be large things, not really subject to something as broad as up-or-down approval. Is there a particular policy you're hoping to discuss?
