Racist jokes

I've watched "Tyra Show" recently and they showed popular videos from youtube. One of which is from a duo who made up black ghetto names. They aren't black and are Mexicans. Some people found it funny while others found it offensive. Should racist jokes be accepted as humor?

I think as long as you are around all the same race it is acceptable, but not in a public place or as a racial slur.

When you think about it, most humor is done at the expense of someone else. We laugh at someone who does something silly or who has something silly done to them. We might play a trick on someone and hen laugh at them when they fall for it. A lot o humor is done at the expense of someone's nationality or race. If it can be taken as a joke it can b funny but if it is meant to be hurtful its not.
