Does anyone remember the Goosebumps books? They were this kids' horror series from the 90's (or possibly before, that's just when I was a kid and read them). I think there was also a TV series based on the books. I remember when my school had booksales, everyone used to go crazy over these books. I think Goosebumps is one of those things that would be popular as graphic designs of Hot Topic T-shirts.

I do remember Goosebumps. I still have all the books and even some of the movies. My oldest is too old for them now, and my little one is not yet ready for them. I am really looking forward to exploring them with her as she gets older, though. We even have some of the boardgames that are Goosebumps, and a glow-in-the-dark figure (it is a small reading lamp) and monster hand that is really a small backpack to carry books in ... all Goosebumps themed. Can you tell that we are a family of dorks?

You've got quite a collection there. It's nice that you still have them and could share them with your kids. Most kids here, like my cousins, don't have time anymore to read books. They'd rather watch TV or play PC games.

Yeah, we believe in saving things and passing them down to the younger family members. That might just be our cover-story, because we are really a bunch of packrats, but I do think that it is really nice to be able to hand things down and also to get things from the older family members that have history behind them. We still read books together, and we still even play boardgames. I know that there are many people that would rather play video games or PC games, and we have plenty of those, too, because we like them as well. However, I think that there are some games that are just better in the old-fashioned boardgame format.

Yeah, RL Stine was good in dramatising stories with details that a young child could understand. He's like the Stephen King for kids. I really liked the book series and the TV series too. The library was where I found almost all the editions. Definitely worth the effort. People should these books with their kids. This makes me nostalgic for the days when cartoons were simple and fun to watch. I used to watch The Goosebump TV series along with other shows on the saturday cartoon block.

Stephen King for kids, you've got that right Descart. RL Stine definitely made quite a name in horror for kids. When I was a kid, I also liked his Fear Street series.

Yeah! I first bought my Goosebumps books during a school scholastic catalog thing that they were doing. I was such a huge fan and I also got my younger sister and brother into it. Goosebumps were all the rage back when I was in middle school. I would devour two or three in a day and I watched the TV series as well. Those were some really good times.

Hi, olisaur. I have seen these books in the library. I think that they came out when I was a teenager. I loved watching Goosebumps on TV. I watched this show many years ago. And it is a very creepy show!

yes! i wasn't really into the books, but i did watch goosebumps when i was a kid. i remember when we had a book report (books reports aren't periodical here in the philippines so kids aren't used to doing them), half of our class did goose bumps. and when we did silk screen design for t-shirts, when it doesn't go right and all the letters are wrinkly, we would say that we're trying to do the goosebumps font!

Yes, I actually do remember them. And I also remember reading one or two of them, as a kid. I also remember watching the television show as a child as well.

I remember when Goosebumps used to be very popular. Every kid was talking about it and we all wanted the books. I also remember being freaked out when watching the TV series. I actually dug up some of my old stuff a while back and found some Goosebump books. I reread them and as expected, they were not even scary at all. But they were a good part of my childhood so I'll keep them around for collection purposes.

Man I use to love Goosebumps. It was actually one of my very first chapter books I've read when I was young. Maybe I was around 6. The details is so fluid that you can exactly picture it in your mind. I also remember the series. It went exactly the way I pictured it when I read the book. I think it was the "Blob That Ate Everyone" that I first read. I think I still have them here somewhere.

I used to be an avid reader of Goosebumps too. My classmates had loads of them and I use to borrow from them. Our library only had a few copies and I had finish reading all that was available. It's definitely the best horror books for kids. I have watched also some of the episodes in their TV series but I didn't like it as much as the books. I feel that the episodes was too short and it lacks the suspense that I used to feel when reading. Yeah it would be nice to have Goosebumps as graphic designs for T-shirts.

I used to absolutely love them. There was actually a point where I was collecting them just to have them and I didn't read them for a long while. And I loved the TV show. I had like 3 of the episodes on VHS. I know I had The Mask, The Tower of Terror (I think that's what it was called) and I think Don't Go In The Basement or something like that. It's been so long haha

AAAAHH, GOOSEBUMPS. Those were the days. My primary school library had almost all of them. They weren't very good in hindsight, but there was something about them that made you want to read more. And the bumpy covers were cool too. And HECK YES I would SO buy a Goosebumps t-shirt.
