I love eating avocados especially when you put milk, sugar and ice with it. But they say that eating avocados can give you high cholesterol. I actually don't believe it. So I ate that night an avocado. When I woke up in the morning, I really felt nauseous and wasnt able to report for work...But I still don't believe that it was because of the avocado. So I tried eating avocados again..and the next day, again, I felt dizzy. I don't know if it were just coincidental, but I want to believe that there is something in avocado or the amount of avocado intake that makes me dizzy always. I also don't know if I'm the only one who experienced like this with avocado.

Avocados are healthy. They don't make you dizzy at all. All I know is, the only bad reaction you can have from it is due to any allergies that you have. However, if you're not allergic to avocados maybe your dizziness is due to other factors. :)

i was told it can cause high cholesterol level. you can always research on it. about getting dizzy after eating, there must be something about the avocado that does not compliment with your body condition. a visit to the doctor is needed.

You are very wrong. Check online and you will see that actually avocados lower the bad cholesterol level. They have only the best kind of fat there is. Probably something you ate caused your problem, but surely it was not the avocado.

Avocados cannot cause high cholesterol level. But what I was told is that as compare to other fruits, it is a tad higher in fat content. But it does not mean that it is not good for you, because it is fruit so technically fruits are good for your body, and avocado isn't singled out for that aspect. But I really do not agree that it can set your cholesterol a notch higher or even more. I have been eating avocado for quite a while now and I don;t see any chnges on my cholesterol level.
