Just watched the final game, when it came down to the wire myLakers Did it. Lakers Win tonight. What were your. feelings? Did you think the Celtics would Win? Or the Lakers? This was one fantastic game. All through the first half I thought oh My they are not going to do it.But I forgot one thing, the Lakers have heart so when the going was really tough they all worked together, Glad I stopped mylotting long enough to watch the game. My blood sugar was going down but I made it to the last few seconds. I think they won by five points, but whatever they did it, They did win. The Celtics are really good but the Lakers were too.

Hiya Hatley, Personally I don´t know any of those Teams but I have heard that the Lakers are good. The nearest I have got to watching is Pau Gasol playing a little in I don´t what Team. He seems to have changed Teams again. We don´t see very much of him as he plays for the U.S.A. But when you see him you see him because he is very tall. Also if you have had a great time watching them and they have played well even better.

Hiya Hatley, I´m so glad you got to see the Lakers win. With all the Football craze at the moment the Lakers will only be shown if they have time to put them on really late at night. They usually do put one or more of their Games on and people I suppose must record it. I can´t think of anyone who can stay up till that hour. Hope you get to see more of them as I know they are a great team. I could hear you cheering all the way from here (grin). Take care now Hats.

The NBA is indeed where amazing things happen.. and how the game was played in a defensive standpoint really showed how the game has changed over the years. The Finals Game 7 win of the Lakers over the Celtics is one for the history books. As a huge Laker fan, it was really an intense and stressful game to watch especially after the half when they were down 13 points but rallied back to win it all. Kudos to the Lakers especially Ron Artest, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. They really stepped it up for Kobe who had an awful shooting night. Basketball is really a team game. No matter how good a player is, he can't just do it alone. There will always be no I in TEAM. Congratulations Lakers and to us Lakers fan. If it was the other way around, the Celts would've also deserved the championship. Either team deserves to win it all in a Game 7 finale. The Lakers just won it this time around.

The Lakers are really known for coming back from being behind as well as the Celts are known for not being able to finish fourth quarters strongly or for finishing bad at all this season. In the case of the Game 7 NBA Finals, the Celts played poor offense and was not in rhythm during the 4th quarter unlike how they was during the first 3 quarters. I do feel bad for Ray Allen though. After his game 2 history in the making 3 point shot making, he played like a Channing Frye who shots 3 pointers but can't make em 18 times in a row. He had his final 3 point shot during under the last minute of the game and just wasn't able to deliver more for his team. I was a fan of his back then. As much as I would like to grasp LA's championship, I do am eager discussing the free agent signing this summer.. Most likely Ray Allen's future as a Boston Celtics is most likely to end. As for the Lakers, the team this season is a good to go for next. I guess they just have to get someone better than DJ Mbenga as a back up center to Andrew Bynum. As well as someone better than Josh Powell in the forward position. Till next season Hatley!

This one was a really close game. I guess I was rooting for the Lakers even though I'm not a fan of either team. Everyone else in the house is a Lakers fan so some of it probably rubbed off on me. Anyways, my brother and I were glued to the game. We were thinking that the Lakers were going to lose because they weren't doing so great in the first half. Kobe, who was great during the entire series, wasn't having one of his best games offensive wise. I was impressed by the Lakers' defensive game. They really pulled through in the last half there. It was exciting to watch because it was such a close game there in the end.

hi saizo oh yes it was really close and Ihave rooted for the Lakers for years as on of their fans. it looked like they just were not even into it and Kobe who is usually superb in free throwing was missing baskets but they sure turned things around in the last half of the fourth part. This made it really exciting. I was so tired and also was going low on blood sugar so when it was over had to leave amidst all the cheering and noise making after the win. Those kind of games are such fun to watch. And we were such diverse group of retirees who watched.I and one other person were yelling no no dont do that and oh he missed the basket. some of the others looked at us like we had two heads but we were just really enjoying the game.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. My mom thought that my brother and I were crazy because we were being really rowdy too. She was in the back yard of our house (the window to my brother's room was open) and all she heard was us yelling and cussing. I would have liked to have gone to a sports bar or something because I'm pretty sure the atmosphere was intense and exciting. Oh well, maybe next time.

Though it really isn't that big of a deal to me, I actually had hoped that the Celtics would win simply because in my opinion, had the outcome been different Rondo would have been the MVP of the series and that would have brought great pride to my state because he originally played basketball at our local university. Other than that, though, I don't follow professional basketball so the NBA finals were mostly a non-issue for me.

hi dorannmwin its always nice to have a home state player become the MVP . For me it was a lot of fun to see the final game and see my home state team win but the Celtics were really great. The lakers have the history of coming from behind to win in the last quarter. lol Basketball and baseball are the only manjor leagues that I care about.

Well, when it comes to basketball for me, I very much prefer college. But professional baseball, I actually follow that pretty well. I grew up in a baseball family and I think that is a habit that is going to die hard for me. I still love baseball and really enjoy going to professional games (both minor league and major league). In fact, I worked as an usher for the local minor league team (single A affliate of the Houston Astros) for three years.

I knew a lot of people really thought the Celtics would win, and i had to admit they are a great team but I have seen my Lakers come from behind before so I kept right on rooting for them. and they won.

I am a Lakers fan but to be honest, in the first two quarters, I really had that feeling that celtics will win. It was a very tough game actually. And as I can see it in the first two quarters, celtics led the game. Lakers tried their best to catch up but they just can't beat celtics' score. But when Jackson let Bryant rest in the third quarter, I thought it was a wrong move but I realized that Jackson has a plan. He let Kobe rest in the third quarter, leaving Gasol in the court, because he wanted Kobe to regain his energy for the last quarter! a very brilliant strategy for me! Now, in the fourth quarter the celtics are too tire stop Kobe! i knew then that Lakers will win! But again, can't help but to worry when the celtics and Lakers exchanges 3point shot! nice game! looking forward for the game next year! :)

hi attente I felt the same way then in that last half of the fourth quarter I realized they were rested, Kobe was now his old self and they really were going to come from behind and win the whole thing it was a tough game and an exciting one too.

The game was great. I wasn't too impressed with the referees though. There were too many times that they showed replays where fouls shouldn't have been called. I was a huge fan of the Lakers growing up, but to me the game has changed to much. Both teams are great, but I really though that The Celtics deserved to win. When that asked Phil Jackson if he was coming back, it seemed pretty obvious to me that he was done. I could be wrong, but what better way to leave a career then with back to back championships? It was also great when Jack Nicholson's friends got run over lol. Congratulations to the Lakers, but go Celtics! I was a fan of the Lakers, I am now a fan of the Celtics.

yes I too thought that was one great game. I have to admit that the Celtic have a really great team but I have more or lost grown up on watching the lakers play. Now i do not mean that in as going from child hood to adulthood as I am 83 and have watched the Lakers play and as a Californian rooted for the home team all the time. I will believe Phil Jackson is going to retire when I see it inwriting. He has said that befor. oh that was great when Jack Nicholson and his friends got mowed down like that . wow.

I was in the gym where every television in the exercise equipment was tuned to the game. I think most of the people there were Lakers fans because it was very quiet in the first three quarters when Celtics were in the lead. I was on the treadmill when the Lakers finally took control of the game and I almost fell in my excitement. Yeah, I'm a Lakers fan.

I never had doubt that LA Lakers will win today because I have clairvoyant about it. I know they will get it they have all the advantages and they will not allow the second chance for the celtics to lost them again. So now thanks that my senses is really right about it.

hi adamay my friend Perla said she prayed for the Lakers to win and whenerver she did pray they won, so I guess she must have prayed hard tonight.that fourth quarter was worth sitting through all the commericials and then some. seems like when the Lakers get down is when' they really rally to wind at the last few moments. what an exciting game.

When Lakers won on Game 6 I already accepted that they will win Game 7. Simply because momentum is in their side plus its their home court. But at the start of game 7 I though Celtics has a chance. Actually they have but Lakers come out strong at the second half. Both of them are really a good team. Congratulations to the champion, Los Angeles Lakers.

hi xeroeight yes it really looked like they might not make it but I remember from other years they played similar games where they pulled ahead with just minutes remaining and pulled it off to win nicely if not by a very large margin. The celtics are a formidable team I must admit and it was a hard fought battle as they could easily have won if a few things had been differet.
