Ever had an interest in meditation but never really knew how to make it more than just an interest.

Hi, The traditional form of meditation is little bit difficult. But it is the best to get maximum output in minimum time. Though you have to put best of your efforts. The classical method for meditation is somewhat customized according to the present scenario. In this approach, the main objective is to gain sufficient detachment for a limited duration. The aim is not to think about anything in that period. When you start doing meditation you will be surprised to see the amount of thought your brain processes each moment. Thoughts come in your mind and you forcefully drive it out. Then again another thought comes and you drive that out too. This process goes on. Sometimes you start thinking about something and get so engaged that you almost forget that you are actually meditating. Thats perfectly normal. But whenever you realize that you've been drifted away from your objective, restore yourself immediately. When you prepare for meditation you start with a resolution that even if the whole world turns into ashes you will not move, until you achieve a state where there is no worries, absolutely no thought at all. It may seem impossible to attain that stage at the beginning. But never give up hope. Continue practicing everyday. Even practicing in that way makes you more perfect. Meditation increases concentration. It significantly increases motivation and develops a very positive and firm mental frame. Read http://www.bukisa.com/articles/289625_staying-motivated-through-meditation Meditation sets up a very peaceful state of mind. You feel totally free and focussed. Once you include meditation in your daily routine, you will soon observe a positive change in your disposition, within a few weeks. Its highly effective. Thanks God bless you

Thank you so much - for it was really interesting to note the real benefits of meditation, and your good explanations about that has really motivated me. I should try that and learn, but feel in the initial stage it will be difficult to gain concentration. Any how - to achieve something in life we have to work for that.

The easiest way to meditate is just close your eyes, sitting cross-legged, put your hands above your knees, empty your thoughts, and the last is concentrate to your breath and everything inside your body.

Yes,that is a great suggestion now I could understand in what pose that should be done. And your point to concentrate on the breath is really appreciable.
