Hi MyLotters, I've seen some people don't help though they could, when you really need it,thinking of some possible terror. For example, I've seen a person hit by some heavy vehicle groaning by the side of the road but people passes by ignoring his cry. They stop, they see and then turn their head around and finally march forward. They think that they may have to answer many question to the investigating officer or have to face the police, and hence get afraid. What you would do?Let me know. I may not reply you immediately because of workload but I'll surely rate everyone positive. Thanks, Happy MyLotting!!

I only help when it's needed and if it's possible for me to help. I don't help if the person doesn't need it.

hello there, i was never in that situation before. but you know it can either be a yes or no. yes because it's the right thing to do, you help a fellow human being when it is needed or when they are help less. but No, because you are afraid to be questioned by authorities, hence might even accuse of being part of the incident. i have watch news about people that are being accused after saving some one which is not fair.

Hi Letran Knight: I agree with you, this is horrible but sometimes, the authorities take these stupid decitions and a person who has helped the others is punished because of that. I think that in a situation like this, a way to help people is calling the police and telling them what's happening and what do you se.. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. ALVARO.

Hi your jannat: I try my best to help people when I can. I must admit that it's not so easy because sometimes I'd love to say that I'm prety busy to help but then I start being conscient and I remember myself that the way you address to your brothers in need that's the way you'll be treated. So, I know it could be difficult sometimes to offer your help but after you do this, you feel good with yourself and you have helped the others. Thansk for asking us this question. Have a nice day. ALVARO.

Sometimes I see the same accident when I on the street. As you say , many people found a man or woman who was need a hand. But just a few people could give him or her a help. I think ,most of the reasons are that they did not wish to involve in this trouble . It are not their business. So they did not want to give a strange for help. So I think that more and more people become heart-colded. But I still believe the most people are kind in our world . Do you agree with me ?

Hi host and everyone,I`m a newer and I`m from china. At the first sight of the subject I remebered two real stories happened in china on 2009 which had ever caused a great sensation. The first story is :One old lady was hitted by a car and fell down on the street.A young and warmhearted man saw that,he helped to raised the old lady up.But unpexpectedly, the old lady just accused him falsely of hitting her.The second:In ShangHai a man who was driving car on the street encountered a "ill" man who claimed to have a stomachche and requested the driver to take him to the hospital. The driver helped to take him to the hospital. On the way they was stopped by some traffic officers and fined the driver for illegal service, because the car is without licence. But as several similar events happened, the man was learned that the whole thing was arranged by the government. The government wanted to own more money. From then on,people become very cautious to help others on the street.

I always start with helping people around me and I think this is the best way to help people is to start in your own surrounding. I do not appreciate people running away instead of helping someone and also refusing to help when they can.

The sad fact is that being in the aid of others have become a personal preference. Unlike when it's still a triggered response. When people are too much thinking about their own selves, helping others become a choice. Personally, I don't know what I would do if I see an accident in front of me and someone is asking for help. I would like to help but until that happens, I can't be sure. My statement is like being inclined to the fact that I'm selfish. But I don't want to say that I would help and do otherwise when the circumstances asked for it.

I had an experience back in my schooldays, the front of our school was flooded and we couldn't get out, one kind parent who drove a car, keep driving his car around, ferrying the students out, he made so many trips. I was very touched by his kindness and have remembered this incident till now.

Are these people afraid of trouble? Or maybe the investigating officer makes trouble for eye-witnesses and passers-by? I have seen accidents happened and people rushed in to help, even when someone trips, people around them tries to catch them. To the contrary of that, I have heard some horror stories where people try to help got the opposite result. One old man was down on the floor, somebody came by to help, the old man turned around and shouted that he was being pushed down by the person who tried to help him, the passers-by didn't know the truth, they got angry and want to beat the kind person. In the end, he has to pay the old man. More and more such occurrences happened and people are afraid of giving their help.
