Has anyone else heard of Papel, a free writing aid software? I did a search on discussions, and it seems tha no one has started a discussion on it. I have procranstinated far too too long on it, so here goes. I have been using it for about three to four months, and in myopinion it is a good software for writers, especially those who are still new. Compared to WriteItNow Papel is less sophisticated in all aspects including the menu, and appearance. Well, it is free, so I did not expect much from it. Nevertheless the features avaialble made me excited. In essence Papel makes it easy for a person to write a novel, book, or long article. The interface is slightly less user-friendly, but I think most writers would quickly find ther way around. Before I forget I should remind you that you need to make a folder, maybe with the title of your book, before you start a new project. Using Papel users can have different sections like notes and chapters. This helps in arranging the plot or storyline. Papel is currently not under further development, but I think it can be a great help to writers who are trying to earn money and cannot afford to purchase WriteItNow or any WhiteSmoke product. The software can be downloaded from FreewareFiles.

Well thanks for the info.. it certainly does sound like a great software. I am currently doing a home study course in creative writing, so it sounds like it could be something that I could use for my work. Where can I get it from, or download it from?

Papel means paper in our native language, it was probably adopted from Spanish language since our country had been under their reign for quite a long time, just another info.
