Has anyone Watched "Edge of Darkness"?

I'd been wanting to see it since it was at the movies so I rented it the first day it came out. I've always enjoyed Mel Gibson and this one was no different. He may be getting older but he is still an excellant actor. I really enjoyed the story line but was a little shocked at the ending. Full of action and suspense, in my opinion a buying movie! So what did you guys think of it? Did the end shock you as well?

Edge of Darkness - Edge of Darkness, starring Mel Gibson, Ray Winstone and Danny Huston
I have seen Edge of Darkness and was quiet disappointed with the movie, the movie could have been far better than they way it was made. Mel Gibson was really dull in the movie, not like Mel Gibson's other action movie, this one was quiet boring ...

Really, I was shocked at the beginning when the daughter got shot by the door. Made me jump, did not expect it at all.
