That is way too dangerous to use your company, or work email for private usage. As I had mentioned before, our boss constantly monitors our online activities. They will see everything come and go while you are using your internet during work. A few days ago, my co - worker and also, my friend from different department sent jokes and remarks on someone through this email. I told him not to, because someone from the IT department would see it. Why not use the third - party email, like google or yahoo, and I would definitely check it later. Because whatever you had posted online, your boss won't think that is fun.

yes, we have compliance department that regularly checks if there's suspicious e-mail sent out by employee either to internal or external party. They have strict policy that prohibits employee to spread out internal information to other people. There are some employee fired because of this, especially during this hard times, sometimes it is easy to fire people because of minor mistakes, so better not try to do fool about it.

Yes I agree. company email should only be use for company related stuffs. Don't expect any privacy when it comes to company emails since they can easily retrieve those mails from their servers. Always consult your company policy regarding the use of emails and other company IT stuffs. In our company gmail and yahoo is block. So I have no choice but to read my mails when I come home.
