Cameroon has just been the first team to be sent home after the suffering a second defeat in the hands of Denmark.
Fans of prolific striker Eto will be disappointed as he will be exiting with his team's exit. Being one of the second round contenders, I think everyone will be surprise with their exit after they had lost to both Japan (1-0) and the just concluded match to Denmark (2-1).
Cameroon did play their hearts out in this crucial Group stage match where they really badly needed a win and after missing their numerous sitters after taking the lead to put their scoreline beyond the Dutch's reach - the tables were eventually wickedly turned in Denmark's favor.
So, it is goodbye Cameroon and hope to see you in FIFA World Cup 2014 Brazil!

Its a disappointing for them to be the first team to be out of the World Cup!! Yeah, any team could be that but unfortunately it was Cameroon, having Samuel Eto in their team they couldn't make it their way to sail through the next round. Yes, we are sure that they can qualify for the next edition's World Cup in Brazil in the year 2014. They could at least drew both matches to keep the hopes alive but they failed to do it. Best of Luck to them for the next editions..

rafaelnadal007,
Honestly, I felt the Cameroons should have made use of home ground advantage and played their hearts out.
Their performance was just pathetic and way below par - not the Cameroon we used to know and see in previous tournaments. I was actually expecting more of them since they are producing quality players like Eto.
Anyway, since it is conclusive and history already there's nothing much to say but good luck to them as they prepare for the 20th FIFA World Cup Soccer Tournament at Brazil in 2014.

Somewhat I felt a little disappointed to it. Cameroon was the "black horse" in the past. Therefore I had impression to this team. Hard to believe that this time Cameroon was out of the Fifa so soon. But actually this time some good soccer teams didn't have a very good performance, such as France, Spain, Italy, UK etc. It's not very sure whether they can go to next round yet.
I love China

youless,
Like you, I just cannot understand how Cameroon, the Lions of Africa could play so dismally. The team literally does not seem to gel and worst of all are like lost cubs when their star striker Eto is tightly marked out of the game.
The Cameroon last time is a team who will take responsibility and courage in their game. They will take their chances once they are presented and will not be dependent on any single player or star in the team.
I think this is what is different with their game in this tournament.
