Mario Favorites

Super Mario bros. Was the first video game i ever played. The easy controlles and out of this world fantasy setting have always kept my interest in the life of gaming. As of now my favorite game in the series is New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
I love it because its so simmilar to the original gameplay. The only difference is that it has beautiful smooth graphics instead of pixelised blocks and cubs.
My favorit character Luigi because i grew up playing with the second controller who was almost alway luigi.
What i what to know is what is your favorite Mario game and who is your favorite character?

I think the first original games were the best, I really loved them and would play them all the time! So it is hard for anything to compare to that, really. Mario was always my fave character, followed by the Princess.

If you mean the original nintendo games I agree. I actually enjoyed all of the Mario games that came with the NES and SNES so much more than the versions that are out these days. I played the 3D Mario for N64 when it first came out and I just didn't like it at all because it did not feel like a real mario game in the least bit. I miss the days of the older systems lol

I really loved Super Mario Bros. 2 just because you had the option of playing Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Toadstool. You weren't forced to play Mario which I loved because I actually enjoyed the other three so much more than him. I tended to play the Princess more than anyone just because she had the ability to temporarily levitate which was always awesome and extremely useful.

My all-time favorite mario game was the first and using Mario. I loved all the obstacles you could go through.

I thought the original was the best in the same way the original Crash Bandicoot was the best. This was also the first game I ever played and introduced me to gaming which is now my number one interest. But Mario got worse as they made more and more.
Thpugh don't get me wrong, I still love the franchise
