Just finished Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. It was a fun read but it felt like it tries too hard to be shocking. Among all 19 characters in the book, there's not even one that's at least a bit likable (but that's kinda the point). My favorite stories from Haunted are "The Nightmare Box", "Exodus", "Dog Years" and "Guts" of course Have you read Haunted? What's your favorite Palahniuk's book? So far I've read Fight Club, Invisible Monsters, Lullaby, Diary, Choke and Haunted. Which one should I read next? I'm thinking Survivor...

I never heard of that particular author. I do sometimes like horror books though and have read most of stephen king's stuff as well as some clive barker and dean koontz. I tried the ann rice stuff but couldnt gget into it.

It's not a typical horror book. It's as much a dark comedy and satire as it is horror. Great combination, really.

Hi, Bionicman. I have never read this book before. I love haunted books and I would love to have me a collection of them all. I am glad that you have enjoyed reading this book.

I wish I got the version of the book with a cover that glows in the dark. That would be sweet
