A little sad for Australia

Australia didn't win the match, however they try their best to get another score. Kewell couldn't finish his first match, maybe his last match of world cup in his life, he still is a fighter and a hero. If Australia can get a chance to continue to next round it will be fair and very good for Kewell. I don't want to see the ending of his football career by this way.

I think Australia really fought hard in the last match against Ghana. They showed their true character in this match especially considering their poor performance against Germany. Unfortunately, they now have a very difficult chance of qualifying for the next round. Either they need to win by a big margin or they need to win and expect Germany put through 3-4 goals against Ghana!! I think they are going out in the first round itself this time around. Cheers! Ram

I thought that Australia did well to hold out for a draw after being down to 10 men for the majority of the match. It was definately a penalty but i think that it is a bit harsh to both give a penalty and send the player off after all he could not really move out of the way of the shot.

Hi kevinll, Harry Kewell is a good player since he play for Leeds and then Liverpool. Only a constant injuries limited his playing time and took a lot from him. I believe Herry Kewell game against Ghana is his last game for Australia at World Cup. Australia only has one point from two games now. They need to beat Serbia to have any chance to progress to the second round and hope Ghana beat Germany too. If Ghana lost Germany, it need a recount or coin toss because Ghana and Australia will have the same point (consider Australia beat Serbia 1-0). If Ghana and Germany draw then it is between Australia and Germany, but Germany has an advantage because they won 4-0 against Australia.
