I am not rude to telemarketers, they are only earning a living, if I don't want to be called, I list with the national "don't call list"...at least there is one in the USA.I am always polite, I always say thanks for calling...sorry, I"m not interested...

The ruddest thing is not saying anything and just hanging up. I was raised with hanging up on someone being very rude.
Even if my partner hangs up on me if we are disagreeing...I will look at the phone like I am in shock! :O
How dare he hang up on me!!!
I think just hanging up is mean. But I am also sure they probably get it a lot.
