What do you think of the new filmversion of "Fame"?

I've just finished watching Fame, the modern version. I never saw the movie or musical so I didn't know much of the story. But who has seen this movie and what do/don't you like about it?

I watched the new version of the movie with similar experience as you did, never watched the original movie or series. I feel very disappointed afterwards, it never lived up its promise, which is how the students reach their dream. I think all stories just feel unfinished and they just jumped into the ending without showing much about the process. I feel with better scenario and directing, this movie will delivered much better.
