I've finally saw Vantage Point starring Dennis Quaid, Forest Whitaker, William Hurt, Sigourney Weaver, Matthew Fox plus some other notable names. Since I saw it on cable, I'm sure I got the edited version, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the movie. The entire format reminded me of a mystery novel where you are introduced to all these different pieces that several of the characters have in their possession that make no sense until you put it together. That's what kept my attention because I always wanted to know what they knew/found out but no, they had to tease me with flashbacks and dramatic reactions. lol. Oh well. Just wanted to spread the movie that's now on my mind. Oh yeah, I LOVED the chase scenes. Slightly predictable but still intense.

I'm glad you liked it, personally I didn't find it that good. I think the use of the split screen and fast rewind sequences ended up being an over used gimmick which became tiring and repetivie by the time it all came together and sort of distracted from the telling of the story. It was certainly different to so many normal thrillers but take away that gimmick of the flashy editing and a couple of easy to see twists and it didn't have anything that remarkable, well for me anyway.

Thank you for responding. I will admit that the editing was annoying and overused. Oh well. Happy mylotting.

Vantage Point - Vantage Point, starring Dennis Quaid, Forest Whitaker and Matthew Fox
I have seen Vantage Point and this movie really sucked. The movie shows a particular crime from different eye witness and ultimately the guy is caught who has done it. The movie end as the incident ends, but the whole movie really sucked, the acting, the story, everything about this movie is boring ...
