Recently, I've been reading about the FAQ's of Squidoo and HubPages. These blogsites are pretty much impressive. Are there myLotters out there who are members of these sites? Any insights?

I joined squidoo and never did anything there, I've heard of HubPages but didn't join. I had a couple of friends who were really into Squidoo for a while.

I've been a member of squidoo for years but have only just made a good lens and am still waiting to see how much I can earn from the site. You have to write lenses that get traffic to earn and you can choose whether to keep your earnings or donate them to charity. It's not a fast way to make money unless you can write lots of articles that get viewed a lot and I just can't do it I don't have that much inspiration.

Hi, I'm a member of both of them, though not I'm not very active with either. I originally set up pages(lenses) on them to build links to my other site and blogs and while I haven't actually touched my hubpages account in I don't know how long, I do occasionally go into squidoo and update etc. I have been paid by squidoo several times so not only does it bring me pretty good traffic you can also earn from it which is also a bonus (hubpages works much the same and I really should go and update my couple of pages there) They're both pretty easy to set up - you just decide what type of module (text, rss) etc that you want and fill in the information.

Squidoo and Hubpages are like mini-blogs. I use Squidoo because of the versatility it offers. I have been paid by Squidoo too so I can also vouch that the site pays but it is not as much as you would get when you have your own money making blog. But then again I do not write as much either so I would not know either.

I have heard about those sites, but I haven't tried them. I am really into using this site, along with Triond, and now more recently, Bukisa.
