scholarship for medicine course

I was in medical school five years ago but I wasnt a scholar. I had a classmate who was a scholar but not really like a hundred percent scholar because being in medical school is really expensive. I dont think there would be a school who would shoulder all expenses for a medical student who would spend at least 3,000 dollars a year in medical school. Its also business we are talking about here so I think its not possible for schools to provide scholarship even for the brightest of them all. I think no politician would also sponsor expenses as much as that but if there's going to be one good person who can do that then that would be great.
