The Next Food Network Star

Are any of you out there watching The Next Food Network Star. I am as I do every season and this year, to me, is very hard to read. I don't think there is as much talent this year as in past competitions and am having a hard time deciding who I like. I kind of like the little Italian girl. I think she is adorable and I think she can really cook, but she is not handling the pressure too well. I'm real glad they got rid of the blonde girl tonight. I didn't like anything about her and could never see her with her own show. She, like they said, was in her own way and maid me uncomfortable. Its still early but I'm wondering what you think of this years contestants and who you want to win. I would love to get on that show. In fact, I'm going to try to interview to take the test for next year. I know its really hard to get on from what I've read but what do you have to loose? I would love the experience and who knows..So who do you think will be The Next Food Network Star?

I'm not a fan of the show but I've watched a few shows. The people who stuck with me were the "salmon not the fish" guy and this arrogant guy who's name starts with a "J".
Anyway, the show's fun, full of tension. I like cooking shows so I enjoy watching it. As for who's gonna be the winner, no idea. I hope the criteria for judging are talent and personality on and off cam. I'd hate for some good cook to star in a show when he has a bad personality off-cam

Hi knicnax..It is fun. I really like anykind of cooking competition cause its what I do for a living. I am going to take the test for TNFS and see for the heck of it if I can get on next year or the season after that..I think it would be a great experience, not expecting to win, but hey, ya never know..Columbus took a chance...right??
