from what i understand from peoples comment. you do not need to create a discussion to earn money..it's good that you can create one so any of us can participate. to earn money is to just post. post as many as possible each day...and i guess you will be rewarded when you sign in the next day..

how many discussions are made and the number of responses made, each member has a different amount. All depends on their time, if they have a lot of time, will definitely give a lot of responses too.

It is totally up to you, but I will say this, that unless you are willing to comment back to the responses you receive, then don't post to much, as you do need to keep up with them, or you won't earn, as you only earn for what you do, not what others do. You can have lots of responses to your discussions, but unless you comment back to each and everyone of them, you won't earn for your discussion. There are lots of users that will start more than 1 discussion everyday, but they never follow through and comment back. That isn't a discussion, whatsoever. I have responded to many a discussion that never had one comment, and that is sad. If you want to earn, then post comments or don't start discussions. Good luck to you and happy myulotting.

We are almost on the same boat i am a newbie in here i just join mylot 2 days ago.So far as what i've read from the terms and conditions that there is no limit on how many post youcan make per day the only limit is there is only 24 hrs. a day lol.But remember this is a discussion site you can post in here,submit new topic and comment but not question and answer portion.At least in here i like it,it is beacause i can express myself,share my opinion and someone listen to me with my point of views in my life.And by doing that i get paid lol.Just have fun and enjoy it you will not realize you will earn money.

Hello there! Welcome to mylot. With regards to average discussion, comments and responses a day depends on your ability to do and how much time you can spare to mylot. Since you are a starter and signed p a week ago for 10 posts. That is actually less in my opinion. Consider this, are you at mylot to earn? If yes, then have more posts a day. Make a goal, say 5 discussions, 10 comments a day. If you cannot reach that goal, then try to achieve it the next day. That is a motivation for you. There are times that our mind get stuck then probably you can make more comments and responses. Your average really depends on your ability to write and think of sensible topics my friend.

There is a section in the FAQs here http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 that tells us how to increase our earnings on this site. Also, you should search for topics before posting not only to avoid similar/duplicate topics, which are a violation of the Guidelines, but also to get the information you are looking for without having to start a discussion of your own that may be deleted. In addition, you might earn a reward for using the search feature in myLot, which is also covered in the FAQs. There have been many discussions on this subject, and there have been some helpful information and tips from many myLotters in these discussions. I would suggest searching for them and reading the discussions and responses. You should find many helpful tips there.

For me if you replies the responses about 100 per day then you get one dollar and if you posted then many are response additional income aside of your replies.

I just started also last week. I also wondered how many discussions should I start or comments should I do. Some answered if you want to earn 40-60, that includes started discussion and comments already, to be able to reach the payout per month. But it is really time consuming but it is worth it. I am now enjoying mylot a lot.

Hi I hope that you are enjoying your time here at myLot As for your question, I don't think that there is a definite answer I can give you. How long is a piece of string, basically!! I don't start the day thinking about how many discussions I will start - some days I will not start any discussions but I will respond to more. It is what you contribute to the site that will make you enjoy it more, make better discussions and also will help you to earn on here. Don't just start a discussion for the sake of it, only if you have one that you want to start - and do respond back to members who respond to your discussion. I'm sorry that I can't give you a number but that is not the way I work on here I contribute as and when I feel that it is appropriate. Hope this helps Good luck

I can't give you any suggestion about how to make discussion because I'm still studying now. For the numbers, I post 1 discussion per day in average, but not exact 1 in one day, someday 2-3 while someday none. I post 20 responses per day in average, the most day was 50 and the least day is 10. Discussions are calculated only when it has two or more responses, so if you are not sure whether your discussion will be responded, you'd better not start it.

If your topic is interesting enough and relates well to a lot of people here I can assure you you'll have lots of responses. And replying to them is just as interesting. Having lots of friends can add up to that because somehow you would have lots to share. It's one thing that simply adds on to another. And they should all add up to the fun and excitement here in myLot as well. And to think that we can earn from all these is a bonus because what you write counts. Enjoy your stay and good day too!

I've been a member here since march 2010 but I only make two discussions but I am still earning. I guess there is no posts suggestions its up to you how many discussions you can make in a day or in a week. As long as you make comments or make your own discussions you still earn. Like for me I only make 2 discussions so what I did is that I am commenting to the discussions make by the other member here. So basically no discussions make everyday is really needed for you to earn.
