well, filters didn't stop me. I could still access forbidden sites. I guess they're useful at some people but not all. I think they're damn useful. They should actually put more strength on those type of sowftwares because really, unwanted traffic is bad for the network. slows everything down!

For example, if you are a businessman who cannot be around to supervise your business all the time, you can make sure that your employees won't be spending much of their paid time just doing Facebook or any other social networking sites. Another advantage is if your kinds use the computers, you can make sure that they won't stray on any adult site or sites with violent and explicit contents.
