After pregnancy breastfeed, diet , or both?

So I am due to have number 4 any day now and I am thinking about after she comes and what I plan to do to lose the weight. I have sister in laws who are depending on breast feeding to lose it, (it is working for one but not the other) and a friend who has dieted herself dry (breast milk). The last time I exercised but I did not diet as I was breastfeeding and I didn't lose enough of the weight and once I stopped feeding it all bounced right back on, well almost all of it. I was wondering what worked for people, real people not those rich famous "I lost the weight in a month cause I Have trainers" people. What works, is there anything that worked better or worse. Did you lose the breast milk or not worry about it to after done feeding?
