Have you seen face to face, it's the tv program airing in tv 5 that tackles issues between individuals, issues like "tsinelas", "pahulugang cellphone" and even manicure. I think it's tv 5's take on the jerry springer show. What do you think of the show?

I have seen the show once while I was buying food in a food stall on my way home. It's hilarious and pathetic, I did not know whether I would cry or laugh. Is it jerry springer or the maury show? In a way you can see that there are issues that will fester in a relationship but are not actionable in court or in our local barangay. The show is like an arbiter for issues that really happen in everyday life but sometimes may be too minor to take any action.

I've seen an episode of it and I think it's a bit entertaining. It is somewhat a copy of Jerry Springer's show and it's somehow a little more mellow than the original. Because the issues there are petty, and given the fact that our culture is somewhat different than the US, I don't think the people in that show would go to lengths like trying to hurt the other party and such.. at least for now it won't.

I've seen the show. It's really crazy in my opinion. I once watched one episode where there were quarreling about how her neighbor stole a viand (ulam-tortang talong) from their eatery. It's really funny because they seem to have deeply rooted hatred to one another at start of the show but when the time comes to try to patch things up they easily agree and make up. I really don't think that this is the kind of show you would want to televise, but then again if it captures the interest of the people then it's good for business. I still think it's all staged though. Nevertheless, it's not one I would waste time watching on a daily basis.
