How I Love It When That Happens..

..."that" being saving money online for once.
My everyday bag that I take to Town and to the football when the season is on has had its day and is currently falling to bits. In fact, so much so that I am ashamed of it.
These days I rarely treat myself and am always "counting the pennies" so to speak. Bearing that in mind I just didn't go for a bag off one site in particular, I chose to shop around "virtually", which I find more enjoyable than pushing through crowds in real shops.
Anyway, I came across a rather nice blue, part studded, shoulder duffle bag from M&S online. It can be worn across the body if I so wish. On the site it was £25 but there was no delivery charge as I want to pick it up from the local store.
Upon paying for this item I got a welcome surprise. On the checkout page an automatic promotion of an £8.50 deduction came into play so I only had to pay a total of £16.50!
Don't you just love it when that happens?
Not only have I saved about £3.50 delivery charge by picking it up from the store on Friday, I've received this £8.50 deduction as well.
I am now an extremely happy bunny as I didn't want to pay more than £20 if I'm being honest.

So lucky you!
As for me? Not yet, but still hoping. I'm quite addicted to the trend of online shopping. Haven't purchased something that would cost me bigger bucks though. I've only bought health and beauty products from multiply which is one of the most popular online shops here in the Philippines. Some sellers give out freebies and discounts, but unfortunately, I haven't experienced one.

Thank you! Believe me, I don't get surprises like the one I mentioned very often but I have learned to shop around, albeit virtually on sites I know and trust and have bought from them before.
I am sure you will experience freebies and discounts one day..just like I have. It can happen, even to "unlucky" people like myself.

I'm one 'unlucky' person. But what's the use of being pessimistic! haha Never lose hope. It is key!

Not online, but I was pleasantly surprised when I went shopping with my daughter for her swimsuit and graduation dress to find that the entire bill was only a little bit more than the marked price for the dress. Everything was discounted from the ticket price, hooray!

That happened to me when I bought a hat to cope with our severe winter and I took it to the check-out and they took even more money off it as a discount.
