i just wanted to know the ideas of the different moms out there regarding the china facing right now on their one child policy, do you agree on that policy? does it violate our rights as a mother not to have more than 1 child in the family?are you satisfied on the number of child you have right now?

I see that and I think to myself how you have the perfect family..lol I, myself hope to have a girl next time, and in about that same age range where our kids are about 2-3 years apart. It's just so perfect. They can grow up together and protect one another. =)

I always wanted to have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, but when I had my son I find it very hard to raise a child especially when you are alone. My husband is working abroad so I am the only one left to take care of the baby. But still I wanted to have a big family, I will just prepare myself for this challenge.

I always wanted three childrens. Two boys and one girl as the youngest. I have a son right now and it made me realize how hard it is. He is so hyper and I'm afraid he's already becoming a brat. =( Me and my husband is already planning for another child but honestly I'm having a double thought, you know life is hard and I really wanted my son or my children a good education, good future. And as we all know education is so expensive these days. As for the policy at China, I think as an individual who can afford to have more than one child and WANT to have one this policy maybe be a violation. But for those who can't afford this can be a good wake up call for them. We can't blame the government for implementing this kind of rule, and since china isn't a christian country who else can have a strong say about this kind of stuff? Like here in the Philippines, even contraceptives are not approved by the church. Another thing about this policy is due to the population growth. more population more pollution, higher food consumptions etc. If all people are open-minded and concern about everything this policy wouldn't be made possible. I mean, if you're poor so poor that you are living under the bridge, why would you want a child? no offense to those people. I just what to point out that, for me, if I am that poor I wouldn't want to have a single child because I don't want them to experience what I'm going through! And do I agree with the policy? yes and no... lolz. ^.^ I understand the governments side, these kind of stuff isn't implemented without a basis.. a goal. But, they could have at least have exceptions. ^.^

I always want to have a 4 children 2 girls and 2 boys which is equal for both of us.It is more comfortable to have 4 because our life is uncertain, today they enjoyed tomorrow they may not be there. So that's why if 1 miss from my family their still 3 children to look after me.

Right now I am not mother.Once I become mother I can prefer to have two kid.One boy and one girl.If we have two child then can take care of them and give highly education. To be a perfect and happy life we should have two kids in our life.

I just wanted to have two kids one girl and a boy.If I have more kids means less love and care. Some parents prefer to have two to five kids and wanted to live happily but I don't think having big family creates lots of financial problem. So I go for small family. It is better to for small family happy family.

My ideal number of children is 2. A boy and a girl. And amazingly, that's what i got! I'm so happy with my children because I've always dreamed of having a boy and a girl. I am satisfied with 2 children and I think it's enough for me. As for the one child policy in China, I kind of don't agree with it. Everyone should have the right to have children as many as they want and as long as they can provide and care and love for each one.

Although i am not a mom.I am father.I don't agree with china's one child policy on people there.I think in one family two children is just the number of many people. One child is too alone in the family.More than two children are too tired for parents to load.

I hadn't heard of this policy until I just read your post! I think it is ridiculous, because it is taking away the rights that a woman has to bare children. And how are they enforcing this I wonder? Something for me to research I guess. As far as your question, my husband and I, before we got married, knew that we both wanted to start a family together someday. We currently have a 13 month old son and plan to have at least 1 more before all is said and done with. I feel like I was born to be a mommy. I knew if I couldn't ever have kids on my own that I would want to adopt but the Lord has blessed us with being able to have our own. If I couldn't have anymore, I would be satisfied I think but there's something about me that really wants at least one more. I guess I feel like our family isn't quite complete yet, although it could be, if that makes any sense at all.
