How does music affect your emotions? One day, when I was listening to a Mariah Carey's song "Whenever You Call" featuring Brian Mcknight, a friend came to my place to share her break up with her boyfriend. Upon hearing the song, she yelled at me asking me to turn the music off. Believing that it would help, I did as she said. When she began her story, I listened intently. "I remember every song he used to sing to me.. The way he stared at me when he was playing the guitar, so sweet." And so I suddenly realized why she hates music. She used to love it when she was in love, and now she hated it because she's broken.
