Husband and Wife

I am reading a book on parenting and it talks about being husband and wife along with being parent. It says that we are husband and wife then we are parents. What do yall think about this? I have to say that even though this is hard and very hard to do I do think this is a good thing. I think it is good because it shows that as a mother even though that is one of the greatest things ever that my children are not the only thing in my life and the world does not revolve around them.

hi lillybelledaisyrose yes indeed the children are actually much happier when they see that mom and dad have still have time for each other as it makes them feel so much more secure. Imaging how a child of ten feels when her dad and mom fight and argue almost every other day.She does not
know if they are going to stay married or get a divorce. she just knows both of them are angry at each other and sometimes she felt that it was all her fault as they were arguing and using her name too. so parents must take time out to be there for each other too. My parents did not divorce although as an older girl I realized that they were all wrong for each other. but back then people did not divorce easily.
