The whole discussion was finished by France by the end of the first half. They were trailing by 2 goals and were down 1 man. They did fight back to score a goal in the second half, but really South Africa should have won that match by 3 or more goals. They had so many chances and hit the post twice!! And Uruguay went onto beat Mexico by a goal.

France isn't desperate, France is falling to pieces and will be going home soon... well those who haven't already quit or been sent home, will be going home soon. I don't see France getting a goal, let alone pulling off a high scoring win to get out of the group round. Plus Mexico has been doing quite well thus far in the tournament and the game against Uruguay should be a good but close game.

Uruguay and Mexico will play out a very tame draw so they both go through. France will probably fail to win their game anyway - a lot of their players don't even want to play!

No, France is going somewhere, going home that is. They are really poor and with plenty of attitude. On top of that, a coach that is clueless. Moreover, they shouldn't be here in the first place after what they did to Ireland in the playoff.
