Well... I agree with you that luck also plays an important role in being successful. However, in being successful we shouldn't depend on luck a hundred percent. There are some other keys to success such as, perseverance and hardwork. So, we have to persevere and work hard to reach success and hope that luck is also with us.

I think it does as it's easier to be successful if your family has money to begin with as you have abetter start in life. It is possible to work your way into a better situation but it's a struggle if you start with nothing and have to build on whatever you can get. If you are a really lucky person you'll have more oppourtunity to make money too, if you have no luck it's going to be much harder for you.

Being there, right place, right time, right key may just open the door. Beyond that you would need lots of hard work. Luck may just play a part. But you wouldn't know when luck is around. You may just feel it's presence after having worked so hard. That's my limited view.

It sometimes seen that who are having great money and started new business still fails while they have lots of potential, knowledge and everything but everything missed by just few minutes..why? may be because they are not focusing on main points as well as there luck is not with them ,while on other hand a new person who started business with great efforts and less experience and positive thinking get established soon why?...may because of luck..I think both works together hard work and luck no luck works without efforts and hard work.

I still believe that success is still 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration... if luck were involved maybe less than 1%... but in reality though, I've actually seen luck exert its role... in the catholic faith, we call it divine providence... intervention from a supernatural being or force... in Buddhism, its the Karma and the chakra effect..

Yes, I think so. Luck also plays its part in being successful. Here are some examples: you want to launch your own business but need an adviser. By chance you meet someone who introduces you to the right person. Probably you would find your adviser but only later and with more efforts. You must go to town but you cannot leave your baby alone. By chance your neighbor pops in and she can babysit for an hour until you arrange your errands. Usually we owe our success to good luck when we get immediate help solve some issue. On long term luck is also an essential factor. In addition to hard work and dedication you also need to be renowned for your work. If your success in work is not supported and recognized it will remain in the shadow, unknown, unacknowledged. It is important that your success be made public. For this, often a little bit of luck is needed. An unexpected opportunity to show your work results, a benevolent boss who promotes your work to the next level, some helpful colleagues who assist you in your work, etc. Yes, luck factor is part of our lives. Is not it that we call "the favor of fortune"?
