Getting ready for work...

I always hate getting ready for work and having to leave. It's not so bad once I get there, and I am grateful to have a job, but my hours vary and I wish I had a set schedule. Sometimes it makes it so hard to make plans! For example, yesterday I worked 8:15 am to 6:15 pm, and today I work 11:45 am to 6:15 pm... Some days I can work as early as 6:45 am. Anyway, off to work! ... Until I win my millions in the lottery??? HAHAHA ; )

Be happy with your job all of us must love our jobs cause there are a lot out there hunting for jobs, having to fall in line during interviews and they end up jobless...I too at times feel sad when dressing up for work, but I just think of the jobless people i know especially here in our country.

i don't really mind getting ready for work, it's once I'm there that I'm not enjoying it all that much. My job isnt that bad, it's just stressful at times.

I hate waking up at 7:15 and leaving a hour later to be at work at 8:30, my job isn't to bad and the people are really funny at times and of course really serious at times when work has to be done. I have a set schedule most of the time anywhere between 8-5 and only Monday through friday as the weekends i have to myself and the family. I do a lot on the weekends as i don't do much when i come home from work besides clean and of course clean again LOL.

I have been unemployed for 3 years now and when I get a bit down and bored I think back to all of those years when I worked for a clothing company that had some seriously insane hours. We used to go in at 4:00 a.m. and get out at 6:00p.m. I was pregnant then and had a one year old so waking her up at 3 and getting her to a sitter plus myself to work all in an hour was no fun at all. Though I was thankful for the job and for all of the overtime it afforded me, I also now realize how much it took me away from my daughter and later her sisters. So I try to enjoy the time that I have with them now, knowing full well that before long I will be back in that rat race again, so might as well enjoy it while I can :)

i wake up 5AM and leave the house at 6AM to be at work before 8AM. Then after work at 6 PM, I still have a class to teach and would end at around 8 to 9PM. By the time i get home, i'd be very sleepy so my daughter and i will just play for a short while in bed before she or i get to sleep first. the next day is another day like that. that's why i love sundays very much. it is the only day i could be with my daughter the whole day. how i wish i could get a serious job online so i can stay home.

Yeah, I hate getting ready for work too, somehow it never seems like I have enough time to do it, so I am always extremely stressed and in a bad mood each morning. And that's not a good way to start the day! So I definitely know what you mean! One just has to go through it I guess, like you said, having a job these days is not something to take for granted these days!
