I am sure many of you have seen this movie before or the musical play for it. What would be your favorite song? Without a doubt mine would be the L'chaim song when tevye and Leibel Wolf celebrate the engagement. In close second would be the song sunrise sunset, if you can hear this played on violin it will bring tears to your eyes.

Too many to pick. I really love "Sunrise, Sunset", it's the most beautiful song in the musical. But I like the humor in a lot of the songs, like "If I Were a Rich Man" and "Tradition". "Chaveleh" is really the only song that just doesn't quite work for me...

I guess that's what makes it such a classic, its quality and humor. Thanks for your response.

I agree 100% about "Sunrise, Sunset"; it's just breathtaking, heartbreaking, an unbelievably - almost unbearably - beautiful and moving song.
