Salary Guide - Fresh Graduate

Hi there, I would like to ask a simple question that I believe all fresh graduates want to know. What is the starting pay for a fresh graduate in your country in the field of accountancy, art & design, and enginering?

I'm from the Philippines and a fresh graduate of Engineering. I was offered a starting salary of PHP14,000 per month. It was a lot lower than I expected but since it's hard to find a job these days, I think I'd go for it. Do you think it's a fair rate?

hmm in my country, fresh graduate for auditor usually starts from 300-350 USD, depends on the accounting firm, usually big 4 offers this range amount. Visual designer usually offers around 150-250 USD which is very very low in our standards. Engineering offer highest pay, usually you could earn around 400-1500 USD, usually you got more than 1k if you placed out of town and not in our capital city. Btw I live at Jakarta :)

I am not really sure of your country but here in the Philippines minimum salary wage for Accountant and Engineers is about $200-$250/month. That depends on the offer, companies have different salary scheme so better do a little research about the company you are applying. But I guess because of recession everybody will jump off to whatever opportunities around.
