Relationship you have with your parents?

What king of relationship you have with your parents? Parents love their chidren no doubt. But relationship between parents and children may be friendly like friends, like a teacher may be some other type. My parents always guide me like teacher. They share things with me but more time they are guide, like a teacher always teaching something.
What kind of relations you have or you feel good relationship between parents and children?

I have a good relationship with my mother, but not with my father. He has a bad temper and always quarrels with me because of unimportant things. of course, I respect him.
The relationship with my mother is good, but not the teacher or friend, just mother. I will tell her most of things, but not the private ones. There is generation gap between us.
I love my parents. They bring up me hardly.

My mother and I are like best friend. She loves telling me a stories about her childhood, and loves hearing movie stories from me. We always live far away from each other though, but whatever thing that I desperately wanted and I can't get it from where I'm living at, she will always travel 2 hours with bus to the town to send it to me :-)
