antibiotic are medications that their kill bacteria or stop them from growing.they are most commonly prescribed for bacterial,infections,often involving the lungs,throat or middle ear.

Antibiotics are the most prescribed medicines by doctors today. The reason they are prescribed is to cure an infection. The antibiotic will harm or kill the bacteria in your infection.
