What character change would make you a better person?

Everybody has flaws and even just one change in someone's characteristic would make him a totally different and better person.
If I could change one thing about my personality, I think I would become more aggressive. People tend to take me for granted because I don't know how to complain.
This morning, my %$@*1!! officemate took a file from my cabinet and left it on my desk. I thought he would come back and return it but half of the day has already passed and the folder was still there, so I just put it back on the shelf.
He does this all the time and I've already asked him before to return whatever he takes from my files (it was supposed to be his files, but since our boss noticed that he does not keep up with his filing it was passed over to me).
If I can be more aggressive, maybe he wouldn't do things like this and I think he would treat me with more respect.

I think I would like to be more patient. In some situations (for example when learning something new), I want to get it immediately, so in case I am not able to get it fast, I start to get nervous and angry at myself and it ends up with not achieving my goals. I could really use some more patience.
